Fig 1 - Pre vs Post Stimulation.  Note the global posterior shift in posture when a Proprioceptive Signal is applied to the bottom of the foot.

What is Proprioceptive Stimulation?

Proprioceptive stimulation is a holistic technique which eliminates or greatly reduces debilitating pain in the muscles and joints.

Proprioceptive stimulation is a holistic technique in which a tactile stimulation is applied to the bottom of the foot. Through this stimulation, a message is sent to the cerebellum (the balance center of the brain). Acting on this signal, the cerebellum initiates a postural correction affecting the entire body (See Fig 1 right).  This correction in posture encourages the body to readjust itself towards a state of harmony and well-being.  Chronic body problems are resolved.

What is a Podiatric Biomechanical Engineer? What does he do?

Engineers understand the direct relationship between a building’s foundation and the floors above it. If the foundation is weak or unstable, the building may collapse.

Podiatric Biomechanical Engineers recognize that this same principle applies to the human body. If the foot is weak or unstable, postural distortions (that is, poor posture) develop.

Published clinical studies suggest that poor posture leads to the development of chronic body problems, foot to jaw.

Podiatric Biomechanical Engineers use proprioceptive stimulation to quickly improve posture which, in turn, can dramatically reduce or eliminate chronic body problems
