Treadmill Analysis of a Primus Metatarsus Supinatus Foot (PMs Value of the left foot = 14mm)
Frame 1 - Left Foot:  Heel Contact, little or no abnormal pronation (black arrow).  Transverse plane oscillation of the hip is driving the pronation pattern in the foot (e.g., Hip Drive).
Frames 2-3  - Left Foot:  Midstance, abnormal pronation (red arrows) driven by the structural weakness in the foot.  The foot is pronating when the ipsilateral hip is externally rotating.  The foot is no longer being driven by Hip Drive.
Frame 4 - Left Foot:  Heel Lift, the foot is rapidly resupinating (black arrow) due to the Windlass of Hicks (tightening of the long plantar ligament due to the passive dorsiflexion of the toes).
